Uncommonly Ambitious

Going “All-In” isn’t for just anyone.  It requires a certain kind of mindset.  There’s risk and vulnerability involved when you invest your heart into something you believe in. But that’s the beauty of BOLD leaders.  While others makes excuses or look for every reason to quit, we are uncommonly ambitious. We’re motivated by what the future might bring and believe in making the kinds of decisions that add to a lasting legacy for our school and the students we serve.

TAKE ACTION

Leaders who are uncommonly ambitious honor those who went before them and are secure enough to realize that their role isn’t to replace the work previously done, but to add to it.  I don’t know about you, but I’m driven by the idea that the decisions my staff and I make today, just may end up having a positive effect on people decades from now.  That’s the kind of ambition that should be encouraged in the hearts of all the individuals we lead.  How ambitious are you as a leader?  Do you have the kind of conviction in your work that would encourage other’s to go “All In” as well?
