Roadblock Removal: They Just Want to Teach

Ask any teacher in America the desires of their heart and they will all tell you a version of the same thing, "Just let me teach."  The burden of federal, state, and local mandates is breaking the spirit of teachers who entered our industry with a passion and excitement to change the world. And while some mandates are well intentioned, many others have evolved to into senseless roadblocks.  It's the job of a Servant Leader to remove such roadblocks whenever we can.   

TAKE ACTION

Is bureaucracy, apathy, or frustration getting in the way of greatness for your colleagues, your school, or yourself?

Ask yourself:

What are the roadblocks that stand in the way of allowing my teachers to teach?  Are there items I can take off the plates of my colleagues and accomplish on my own or with a streamlined collaborative group?

What actions can you take today to be a problem solver and remove just one roadblock?
