DAY OF PRAYER... Every Saturday

Oswald Chambers asked the question: "Am I willing to give up physical comforts and convenience for spiritual well being?"  That question is one of great importance to us this church year.  We have called everyone to set aside a minimum of 30 minutes time slot every Saturday, to pray for the church's services, ministries, leaders and future, as well as, praying for ourselves and our investment in the Kingdom.  So are we willing to give up some times each Saturday for our spiritual well-being?

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

God is opening up doors of opportunity for ministry at CR First.  If you are interested in helping or knowing more about these ministries, contact the church office or the contact person.

> Coffee/Conversation Area - If God is calling you to become part of this connecting ministry area - contact Al or Deb Nichols.

> Prayer Shawl Ministry - Can you knit?  We are looking for people who can knit these prayer shawls.  If God is calling you to become part of this prayer ministry - contact Dorothy Readnour.

> Grace C. Mae Advocate Center - If God is calling you to become more involved in Compassionate Minsitry this may be an avenue to consider.  For more information, contact Patti Gilbaugh.

> Mission Ministries - There are always opportunities offered to us to get involved in the missionary efforts of our church around the world.  We have raised the money for 1 well and the fund is always open to work on another one.  There is the prayer initiative for persecuted Christians around the world as well as the weekly prayer support for our missionaries world-wide.  You may want to get involved in one of the various groups who are serving in compassionate ministry areas throughout our community.  Or if you don't feel you've found a place in missions yet keep inquiring because there are a host of other opportunities throughout the year.  If your interested contact Russ Stolba for more information.
