What Community Leaders Say About N.A.T.I.O.N.Strategy

Nationstrategy and Ed Delph-Community endorsements…

As Mayor of Peoria, Arizona, I have had the great pleasure of working with Ed Delph on several community projects. Ed has always taken the lead in promoting the greater good of the community. He reaches out to local government to identify potential partnerships between faith-based organizations and the city. I want to take this opportunity to thank Ed for all of his hard work and dedication.

Ed Delph's vision for how God's people are mandated to relate to the community is very consistent with how I believe Christ called us to be. Ed's book and vision casting conference in Stillwater was an integral catalyst in the continued transformation of our community. Things continue to progress. The highlight in my ministry is the cooperation of over 25 churches in reaching out to the community for something called Celebration Stillwater (www.celebrationstillwater.org) that impacts over 5000 people through fun, services and the sharing of the gospel in a "real and practical way".

Christian Fellowship of Ministries is based in the southern parts of JHB, South Africa. We have started this community based church not knowing exactly how the structure should work or how to penetrate the community. After attending a workshop of Ed in SA, and reading his book, we had the skills to formulate and activate our church in various projects in our community. On Ed's latest visit to SA in 2008 we could redefine points of importance regarding leadership and concentrate on areas how to grow our church in 2009. Thanks Ed you are great. Keep up the good work in "Church @ Community"

We are looking forward to our Community Impact Conference in March 2009. We are establishing a community wide network of service providers for Brevard County to implement the C.L.I.M.B.TM program. The C.L.I.M.B.TM program is three year transitional plan for persons and families to become self sustainable. It includes Housing, Work, education and treatment or counseling. We currently have 30 plus organizations here in Brevard County and 6 other organizations located in Indiana, Mississippi, Illinois, San Francisco, Los Angeles, for the Indian tribes in New Mexico and Arizona. We are working on Social Enterprise funding and have established a community wide Golf tournament in Feb to assist all the local agencies in funding their efforts to become self sustainable.

Nationstrategy has been instrumental in providing through the Church @ Community Conference we held in 2007 in brining an understanding of how a community can be changed cooperatively and in all aspects of the community.

Ed has been a source of encouragement to Helping Hands for Single Moms. He has provided us with media exposure and also the opportunity to present our work at his church. As a result of that presentation, a church member assisted our organization in upgrading our Power Point presentations. We endorse the ministry of Nationstrategy and thank God that we are blessed to have Ed Delph working to engage the churches in Phoenix as vessels of God's power and life to the community.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr Ed Delph in 2007 while he gave a presentation on his book, Church@Community. I was deeply moved by his vision for the community and contacted him in hopes of learning more and implementing these principles in the community I work in. Dr. Delph graciously met with me and we discussed many ideas, strategies, and programs for building communities. The strategies we discussed were implemented and we are seeing a significant change within our own community.

Ed Delph has visited our Church twice in the past few years and we have confirmed him again for 2009. Ed's ministry will equip the leaders and members of your church to move forward with confidence and courage. His ministry enables a release of believers into the fullness of what God has planned for them and His Church.
As the Church is central to what God is doing in our communities, the ministry Ed brings will inspire creativity, servant hood and faith in your church with good humor. Breaking down destructive stereotypes within the mindsets of many in the church, Ed will help equip your church to be a place both for believers and for those who are yet to come.

OIKOS Network’s purpose is “to unite and restore the Body of Christ.” In support of that quest, we participated in bringing Ed Delph to Stillwater, Oklahoma to teach pastors, churches, and community leaders about transformation principles. A group of praying pastors immediately began studying together Church @ Community. Two years later, we are still referring to Ed’s input and the book and applying the principles in practical ways. We are grateful to Ed for his ongoing influence, encouragement, and support.

Within our society we have built silos of capabilities, priorities and connections and we have charged forward with our own silo-ed agendas for community development. Nation Strategy unlocks these exclusionary silos and intentionally opens connections across community sectors for true transformation. Nation Strategy’s view of community transformation is inclusive rather than exclusive – they are silo busters. Using a biblical model for community, Nation Strategy is building partnerships and collaborations within complex urban systems in a fresh, and timely, approach. Unlocking the passion, purpose and capacity of our community through thoughtful, world-tested strategies and tactics is clearly advancing heaven here on earth. Thank you Ed for all you do to strengthen individuals, families, congregations and communities.

Ed Delph has been a great encouragement to the ministry at New Life. He has helped us see how the church and different sectors of the community can work together. Thanks Ed!”

NationStrategy has effectively taken religion out of the hallowed and intimidating halls of its traditional sanctuaries and placed God in the hands, hearts and minds of people searching for direction, purpose and meaning in their lives. The movement has laid a firm foundation of faith that actually is applicable and thus fits and flourishes in the everyday lives and lifestyles of literally every human being, regardless of gender, race or religious preference. Nationstrategy community concepts reach, touch and comfort those in need and provides strength, structure and confidence to those committed to the development, health and wellness of their community. It puts God plainly, peacefully and purposefully in the everyday lives of regular people and transcends the perceptions, challenges and objections of the traditional church environment.

To whom it may concern,

I have known Ed Delph for many years and have been encouraged by his devotion in bringing church and community together. In my service as Chaplain for the Arizona State Legislature over the past 10 years, I have been encouraged by Ed’s teachings through Nation Strategy. In my daily work with our elected officials and their staff, I have been able to apply Church @ Community as a valuable tool in reaching and impacting others for Jesus Christ. Effective ministry in the work place means using transformational truths to “shake” up the everyday business as usual routine that most people fall into. The strategy works so well, that people are compelled to begin to live by a higher moral compass than they had ever lived before.

Ed’s vision to place God-centered people in the community, to impact their sphere of influence for the kingdom, is both a common-sense approach and a revolutionary idea. As believers, we know that God’s influence is indeed revolutionary and transformational, even though the world believes our faith to be foolishness. I highly recommend Ed Delph for any church, community or organization that is looking to make an impact on their neighborhood, city or world. Substantial truths brought to light by the experience and insightfulness of one obedient man of God and this is Ed Delph.

As a result of the 2007 Intelligent Fire Conference in Reno, Nevada, an alliance was created between several ministries, public and private organizations, as well as some community service agencies to educate the community on the dangers and increased use of Crystal Methamphetamine in Northern Nevada. Within one year The Crystal Darkness Alliance created training material and launched several trainings throughout the Northern Nevada area.

Although it was sometimes a difficult process, the common needs of the community provided solid ground to build relationships between State, County, City, Schools, Tribal Agencies, Churches, and other Community Service Providers. The training and educational materials have been in turn provided to representatives of these organizations to be freely shared in an increasing fashion.

We again thank our Keynote Speaker and Favorite Fire Starter ... Dr. Ed Delph.
