Since the concert will be outdoors - please remember to bring your lawn chairs and/or blanket.  There will be food and band merchandise to purchase but the concert itself will be FREE.  Come and enjoy the evening!!!!!

We just want to say THANK YOU for your understanding and patience for our mess around the church this summer.  With all the projects that have and are taking place around here you have shown a Christ-like attitude.  We are praying for good weather as we continue to improve the area around the church.  We are looking forward to a great future here at CR First. 

September Birthdays and Anniversaries

Children going to Taco Bell

Our children have reached a goal and now they will be going to Taco Bell for lunch on Sunday, Sept. 19th following Sunday School.  Parents are invited to come along BUT CHILDREN WILL EAT FREE.  Please let Jessica know if you and your family plan on joining in the fun.

Be sure to come to Children's Church this month and get involved in all the activities.

Go Fish Vacation Bible School

Not just 5 days of

Vacation Bible School

But

5 months

Come every Wednesday night

from 7-8pm

Starting May 5th - September 29

We will go "backstage" each week with the gospel group "Go Fish" as we worship and sing.  Our kids will enjoy the ultimate concert experience as they learn foundational truths such as the 10 Commandments, the Books of the Bible, and most importantly, how to be Saved by Grace through faith.

Every family will get a CD full of music to take home and there are t-shirts that can be ordered.  See Jessica Bronson if you have any questions or call the church office at 364-0633

Pray for Our Pastor

Pastor Tim will be taking a much needed sabbatical from Sept. 13- Oct. 4.  He will use this time for rest, renewal and refocus.  We are excited about what God has in store for us as a church during this time.  We will be having guest speakers. 

Sun. Sept. 19th - Rev. Gary Henecke will be here with us.  Invite you friends to come to church with you.

Please remember to pray for Pastor Tim during this time that God will give him much needed rest and a refreshing time in his spirit.  We look forward to his return and for him to share with us what God did for him during this time.

God is opening up many doors at CR First in which we can minister.  If you are interested in helping or knowing more about these ministries, contact the church office or the contact person.

> Coffee/Conversation Area - If God is calling you to become part of this connecting ministry area - contact Al or Deb Nichols.

> Prayer Shawl Ministry - Can you knit?  We are looking for people who can knit these prayer shawls.  If God is calling you to become part of this prayer ministry - contact Dorothy Readnour.

> Grace C. Mae Advocate Center - If God is calling you to become more involved in Compassionate Minsitry this may be an avenue to consider.  For more information, contact Patti Gilbaugh.
