MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR

     Greetings from the First Baptist Church of Junction city, Kansas !!   Thank you so much for traveling down the internet highway and taking time to visit us at our cyber space address.  Unfortunately, we will not have a chance to personally meet or minister to many of you.  However, please know that when you send a prayer request to us via email, we will surely pray and send you a notice of the date and time we prayed for you.  If you or someone you know experiences God's answer to a prayer, contact us to share your testimony - We love to hear praise reports!  Whenever you are in the Junction City area, we extend a warm invitationn to you, your family and your friends.

     First Baptist is one of the oldest congregations in Junction City, reaching out to all age groups and welcoming the Fort Riley community.  Our desire as a church is to love God, love people, and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world.  Everything we do, including Sunday Worship Celebrations (11am & 6pm), Sunday School (9:45 am), AWANA and youth groups at (5:30 pm), Men's Ministries, Women's Ministries, Bible Study (Wed. evenings 7:00 pm) and Music ministry, is intended to lead us in the direction toward pleasing God.  Our 11am (CST) Sunday Morning worship Celebration can be heard on the local radio station, KJKC (1420am).  Our purpose:  (A) to preach the gospel to the whole world, (B) To administer the ordinances of the New Testament for the spiritual improvement of its members, and (C) to convert the unsaved to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Please  know that you are always more than welcome to join us for any or all of our wonderful church activities.
