Welcome to TNLC Praise Place  Our Mission “SHAPING GODLY CHARACTERS, BUILDING LIVES INTO SPIRITUAL CHAMPIONS   The goal of TNLC Praise Place is to mobilize children of all ages into sharing (fellowship) godly beliefs and helping (ministry) others, adoring (worship) God with their lives, preparing (discipleship) them with godly characters by exposing (evangelism) them to God’s love S.H.A.P.E. Sharing Helping Adoring Preparing Exposing Children are engaged in joyous songs, sharing their week’s activities with each other, hear the Word, discuss how to apply the Word in their lives and create something tangible to help transfer the knowledge they have gathered. Children are provided with a take home folder which includes any unfinished activity, scripture verse, songs, poems, skits… to be learned, and communications to parents/guardian regarding the week’s lesson and activity, and upcoming events. Materials for activities will be provided by the department, but occasionally we will ask you to send in a special item. At the end of the service children will be picked up by parent or guardian.     Staff Information The Children’s ministry volunteers and substitutes will strive to present solid fun, encouraging and engaging lessons that will aid all of our children in bearing fruits. Our staff will attend training seminars and workshops where new methods of teaching are explored, knowledge is shared, synergy is developed and support is given. Their continuing effort will create a place to plant the seeds and lead our children down a path in which they will happily walk with the Lord.     TNLC COMMUNITY PRAISE PLACE “Shaping Godly Characters, Building lives Into Spiritual Champions” GUIDELINES FOR STAYING IN S.H.A.P.E.  STRATEGY All children must be in Church by 10:15 A.M.
