We as people often excuse certain behaviors and oftentimes for certain people (those that we love and hold near and dear) when it's convienient or when we know that we possess those behaviors...I feel that people are not entitled to the benefits of GOD until they prove themselves worthy and at the level of perfection just like GOD...We know that GOD is a jealous GOD, but he also a sovereign, loving, righteous, holy and perfect GOD... DOES THAT MEAN THAT WE ARE ALL THOSE THINGS TOO...I haven't seen anyone match or come close to matching any of those things mentioned above...That's just like us giving GOD THE SAME TITLE AS MAN...For example, I thank GOD for Doctors(man's title) but I would prefer a HEALER (God's title) over a doctor any day...God's jealousy to me is on whole different level than ours...GODs jealousy comes from the agape love that he has for us and because he created all of us and everything...so to me he has every right to be a jealous GOD and not want us to serve or put any other GOD OR ANY OTHER THING before HIM...WE HAVEN'T CREATED ANYTHING OR ANYBODY...SO NO!...TO ME JEALOUSY IS NOT OKAY...GOD's jealousy never turns sick...it always remains strictly out of the love that he has for us because he created us...For example, my natural parents are Lawrence and Frankie Arnold... to me they raised me and took very good care of me...How would it make them feel if I called another couple mommy and daddy...that's the type of jealousy that God has for us...On the other hand people's jelousy has led to serving jail time and on some occasions murder...All i'm trying to say is that we are not and will never be entitled to the same benefits/titles as GOD...because those rights have been reserved strictly for HIM and ONLY HIM...AND WE DON'T EVER NEED TO FORGET THAT...Some of us might think that we are on the same level as/of God because we have let a spirit of arrogance overtake us...BUT NO MATTER HOW HIGH AND MIGHTY WE THINK WE ARE...THERE IS STILL A GOD ABOVE ALL THAT NONSENSE...THE ONLY ONE THAT SITS UP HIGH AND LOOKS DOWN LOW...even on the arrogance...THE ONLY ONE THAT NEVER SLEEPS NOR SLUMBERS...THE ONLY ONE THAT IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE CAN ASK OR EVEN THINK..THE ONLY GOD THAT IS ABLE TO KEEP US FROM FALLING...THE ONE THAT SITS ON HIS THRONE WITH HIS SON AT HIS RIGHT...LORD I CAN GO ON AND ON! ...A few other rights and benefits that have been strictly limited and reserved to and for GOD are:OMNIPOTENCE(all powerful) ,OMNISCIENCE (all knowing), OMNIPRESENCE (everywhere at the same time)...I found two new ones! (at least to me...lol) OMNIFARIOUS (of all kinds) and ONMIDIRECTIONAL (able to receive signals/prayers from all directions)...would it be right for us to say that we are all those things too...NO!...THINK ABOUT IT!!!...BE BLESSED!
