For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

God performed a work in us never before known on such a scale. In Christ Jesus we became creatures of good works. Good deeds . . . and doing good in this life should not be a struggle for the children of God since by nature good deeds are what we are about. In any situation where there may be many outcomes or reactions ours should be on the side of good . . . yea, as proof of our relationship with the Lord . . . ours will be on the side of good. His imprint is upon us . . . we have no other redeeming acts but of good. Once Jesus told a group that they must eat His flesh and drink His blood and the scripture tells us that many went away. When Jesus turned to his disciples and asked will ye go away also? Peter answered, unto whom will we go? Only you have the words of eternal life. In this same spirit do we who believe exist . . . unto whom will we live? Only He directs the way of our lives. We have been ordained to the good way. Today's scripture tells us to walk in it, and so shall we.
