"The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace." Psalm
29:11 (Emphasis added)
The declaration of assurance that resounds from the Psalmist must continue in the hearts and minds of the people of God. The Word of God stands sure and all that our Lord promises He will do according to His will. When the Psalmist speaks of strength and peace being the promised gifts of God, we can find the fulfillment of those promises in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is God's gift of strength and peace, and these grace gifts are ours if we will lay claim to them by faith in Christ Jesus. The greatest need is to be sure that you are His. This can only be accomplished by faith in His Son Jesus Christ, then the gifts can be yours. May His strength and peace be yours today.
