Sometimes we are faced with things in our life,

And we do them even though we know they are not right.

If we should choose between these things and God,

We choose them convincing ourselves they are not wrong.

Things such as pornography have us hooked.

We find pleasure in them when we continue to look.

We get so tempted to experience it physically,

that we go ahead and make it into reality.

Then there are the music, we can’t live without;

the ones that define us; the ones that we love.

It is so ‘fly’ to know these worldly songs,

because we get accepted in the ‘cool-kids-gangs’.

Unhealthy relationships are so human-like;

We need someone to stand always by our side.

When our hearts are broken we pick them right up,

mend the broken pieces and continue on that track.

We go to church each Sunday morning holier than ever,

then Sunday night we’re in the club starting up a fire.

We talk about the people who act as if they’re righteous;

Forgetting that we ourselves are acting all ‘religious’.

There are those of us who loves drugs because it makes us high.

It opens up our senses; that much we can’t deny.

But then we get so addicted we can’t do without them.

We slash our arms, inject the drugs and cause a lot of damage.

Josiah was at the age of eight when he began to reign,

His heart was right, his path was straight; he was on the narrow way.

Jerusalem and was worshipping idol images

But Josiah destroyed the idols because he was determined.

We too must be like Josiah and start to clean our hearts

We must be ready to stand for Christ, no matter what’s the cost.

We need to get rid of anything that stands between us and God

That means we have to SMASH and every single one of our IDOLS.

I love the way He talks to me;

The ways He makes me see,

that life can be bad at times

but it also can be glee.

I love His sense of humor;

His very gentle touch;

I love the way He whisper

“I love you very much”.

I love the way He push me,

to do the best I can.

The way He comforts me

When everything has gone wrong.

If I sit and write

The list would surely go on

But the point I’m trying to make is:

You too must love God.

Jesus is coming soon

            So don’t put up a fuss.

Have you ever felt like you are the only one in the world?

No one to talk to; no where to turn?

Have you ever felt like you are a bother to the ones you love?

Just look to the Almighty above.

 

Have all your friends forsaken you?

Leaving nothing to hold on to; leaving nothing but fears?

Have you ever felt like you are not loved?

Just look to the Savior above.

 

Have you ever felt locked up in a cage?

Can’t see anyone; can’t see any face?

Have you ever felt left out and alone?

Just run to the father’s arm.

 

If your world is upside down,

don’t make the slightest frown.

If your life is missing something,

just turn to the reigning King.

If you are feeling lost and out

God is always around.
