While driving to work this morning I was listening to KLove, and the announcer was asking if you could have one super power what would you choose. Once I got to work and began to walk in circles I thought on this question and realized we all have one great super power. The power of prayer. Can anyone think of a super power that is better than this one?

So on that note I will leave and just see most of you this Sunday; and remember, if you feel like you''re going backwards, turn around and head the othe way.

This morning as I went with Oliver on his walk, the thought occurred to me that yes we are forgiven for our sins by God, but almost as important is that we should forgive ourselves. The devil uses our guilt over what we have done in the past to ruin our salvation. I figure that we not only need to ask the Lord to forgive our transgressions, but also to help us to forgive ourselves for our actions.

I wouldn't mind hearing what others might think of this. I sure have a lot in my past the Lord has forgiven me for, and as of this morning I'm asking him to help cut the self incrimination loose.

I was thinking about my mortality and wondering how I ever made it this far age wise. Then I heard that familiar voice say "Moses was eighty when he lead Israel out of Egypt" - what a thing to think about.

Now on a slightly lighter note - why is it that the only people who aprove of abortion have already been born?

I walk my bassett hound Oliver around 4am and pray. At times questions pop into my head and today there were two. The first is what does the voice of God sound like to you? For me it's quite a bit like my dad's voice. A man I respected a great deal. Maybe God uses voices we identify with so we will listen to him.

On a lighter note the second question is this; If athethists  don't believe in God -why do they spend so much time worrying about Him?
