  Enough is Enough!

Please pray for the people of that call FCLFC their Church home. There has been an attack of the enemy on many people of the body with serious physical issues. Johnny-bypass surgery, Candice - Knee problems, Angie-Ankle surgery, Kathie-knee surgery, Chelsea-appendectomy, Jeanne- hysterectomy, Teresa-Gall Bladder, Jerry - Pneumonia, Blake-broken arm, Kelly - bowel issue, etc..

Plus the attack on finances of the people and the church. We even were attacked  with the Easter Egg Hunt outreach.  He has tried to cause discouragement and frustrations.

The enemy don't like what we are doing and knows that we are working on building Gods kingdom and that something Good is about to happen and he will do all he can to prevent it. He will attack the people so that they can not be apart of what God is doing. He will do all he can to pull the people away and he tries to be so sneaky about it.

People it's time to take a stand and war in prayer against the enemy! Enough is Enough and he will not win. The Victory is God's! Let's agree together and show the enemy he will NOT win and he has no place in the lives of the people of the church.

Love ya!

  Where is the Passion?

I think it is interesting how people will call a church their church home, but lose their passion to do what it tells us to do in Hebrews 10:24-25.  They will find excuses to not be at church on Sunday. A time set aside to come together in Celebration of Praise to our Lord and Savior, but they have no problem giving 2 hours to ball games, TV, hanging out with friends, etc... Will this ever change with Christians? It's time to get serious about the things of God and help build his kingdom. Priorities are out of line, but what can be done to change it other than Prayer and Teaching?
Where has the passion gone? Where is the excitement and zeal  for the things of God?  Why is it there are Christians with an excitement for things of the world but not things to help build Gods kingdom?  Why is it these are always the people that expect things out of a church and will voice their opinion about how things are done or not done? I am not speaking of just one church I am speaking of the Churches and Christians in general.  Come on people get the passion back and go after the things of God.

  People Amaze Me

As I listen to people and check out facebook it amazes me how much time people spend online.  The things they say and do, the games they play, the hours they spend on things that are not eternal, but to give themselves to something that has eternal value is a big sacrifice to them. Why?   Why is it people can stay up all night and hang out and  can get up the next morning to do it all over again, but when it's time to come together to celebrate what all God has done for us, they don't have time for it or they are just to tired?   Jesus is never to tired for us. Better yet how much time do we give to the Lord daily compared to the time we spend online and doing things that don't have an eternal value?  People we need to check ourselves out.  (I'm talking to myself also)

Blessings!

  FIRST

Do you want to see change and success in your life, family, and business?  Then make all your decisions by FIRST seeking God.  He wants our first of everything. Matthew 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you"  If you seek Him first in the year, get ready for ALL these "things" to be added to your life throughout the rest of the year. You can't do it alone and without God.

Blessings,

Ro

  By Bruce McRorey

Bruce gave this to me at prayer tonight and I thought I would share it with all of you.

Thank you Lord for holding me In your palm may I always be

I know I can't run too far

Because where I run, there you are.

Your undying love I don't understand

Like the test of time and the sea of sand

So blessed am I that you thought of me

And only in you am I ever free.

The things of this earth they seem so hard

But you saved us all by hands so marred

Please, Dear Lord, never let me go

I am always learning you love me so.

Blessed be my Savior still

Evermore in you will

Let my mouth be purged today

Show me Lord of your everlasting way.

Bruce McRorey

  Prayer?

Why is it that so many people say they believe in prayer, but don't make it a priority in their lives?  I believe that the foundation to all we do should be based on prayer.  Why is it that most people call a believer for prayer when crisis hits their lives, but can't find the time to come together as a body for prayer? We all have those prayer needs and we want others to be in agreement with us, but when no one shows up to pray then what?   Yes, we can pray alone, but how many honestly get alone with God daily to seek his face and pray?  I hope and want to believe everyone does, but I'm sure the business of life captures most of us.  Plus there is something about coming together as a body of Christ to pray and be in agreement for healings, for lives to be changed, city's to be changed, etc..  So many will say, "I don't know how", or "It's not my Passion" or "I don't have time"....If you know how to talk to a friend you know how to pray....If it's not a passion it should be...Jesus didn't say he didn't have time for you when he died on that cross and when he answers your prayers.  Sorry to sound so hard, but people get real it's time to PRAY!  We were having Monday night prayer at the church to pray for the lost, the city, the church, prayer request that have come in and more.  Only a few people would show up and some of the time it would just be Pastor and I so we allowed it to fade away.  Then I set up several prayer stations on Thursday for national day of prayer for no one to show up, but Pastor, myself and Joey.  I would just ask you to maybe do a study on prayer and ask yourself how important is it in your life.  Prayer is the foundation to what God has for us and Prayer changes things.  Love ya and God Bless.

  Blessed!

It was so exciting to see and feel the Holy Spirit move as we did today at Church.  To see people be refreshed and to step out and use the gifts that God has given them.  Praise God!  Remember what Pastor Terry told us today  is that we need to EXERCISE!  That is to excercise our gifts.  Wow, what a service.  Have a blessed week.

  Children of God

Wow, what a blessing to see children continue to join us on Wednesday nights to learn about our Lord and Savior.  We have only been a Church for 5 months and 3 weeks and we began a Wednesday Night children's program just 3 months ago with only 4 children attending. This last Wednesday night we had 28 children. So many of them are just learning the basics, many don't even have Bibles in their homes, but they are ready to hear something new every week.  We have some that arrive 30 to 45 min early, some that ride their bikes or walk and we even have parents stay and join us.  The children just want to be there and don't want to leave. It amazes me how quickly they are learning and how they are sharing with their friends.  What a blessing it has been to minister Gods Grace and Love to these Children.

As Adults and as Children of God we need to have that same excitement about learning more about our Lord and Savior and sharing it with our friends. What a change there would be in homes, communities and in this world if everyone would just be like these children.

"Thank you Lord for the opportunity to Love on Your children."

  How is your Fruit?

On Sunday, Pastor Terry continued his message on "The Spirit Filled Life" and he reminded all of us about what it says in Galatians 5:22-26.  He broke everything down about abiding in the vine and about what our fruit is producing.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit are qualities we see in Jesus Himself: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.  How are these fruits in your life?  Are they dead, dying or are they bearing lots of good fruit. The goal of the Holy one living within us, is for us to produce or accomplish this fruit in our lives-big, luscious fruit for everyone to see and admire. Love is the everlasting fruit that will not fade away.  To bear fruit we must abide in God's love-to stay alert to His love for us, to dwell in His love by loving others, and to endure testing by responding to trials with love.

Remember: The Holy Spirit is the One Who knows the will of God and Who is sent to dwell in each of us to aid us in being all God has designed us to be and to have all God wants us to have.  So allow the Holy Spirit to flow through you to help you bear productive good fruit.
