All,

Your deliverance is going to come through lifestyle of strong prayer and consistent fasting.  No amount of accountability will keep you from sinning when you've made up your mind that you will sin anyway.  Only strong consistent prayer that is based on God's word can change the heart from stone to flesh.  And only consistent fasting can crucify the stubborn flesh that is married to the lusts of this world.

Accountability only serves as a reminder of the original commitment that you made to God the Father through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ when you got saved.  It was never intended to deal with a hardened heart.  If your heart is hard, then know of a surety that sin is waiting for you at the door, and so is the devilish wisdom of how to accomplish that sin.  A hard heart is the world's defense for, and solution to, pain and hurt and disappointment; however, a broken and contrite spirit is the Lord's delight.  Therefore you cannot have both simultaneously.  Therefore, choose ye this day whom ye will serve.  If God be God, then serve him; but if Baal, then serve him.  Do not be halt between two opinions. 

The demons of lust and porn have bound up the wills of countless numbers of God's people.  These evil spirits MUST BE CAST OUT in the name of Jesus Christ.  And they MUST BE KEPT OUT.  They will not just politely leave and just allow you to become a strong warrior as a testimony to Jesus Christ.  You must force the issue via prayer and fasting.  You must force the authority of Jesus into the carnal places of your humanity in order to be made free from the sin that resides and rules in those places.  This is hard work but is well worth it.  If you don't do this level of work, then don't be surprised when your joy keeps getting cut short.  Every time you start having fun and enjoying the good things that God has to offer you, then here comes that stupid lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh to kill, steal and destroy the Lord's joy from your heart.  And because you choose to let those things linger around in your various mindsets, here comes Mr Depression, Mr Unbelief, and Mr Death, and a host of others  to join the demonic party.  Meanwhile, the worms that dieth not are eating you up constantly because you refuse to put off the old man.

I'll take fasting and praying any day over this nonsense.

If I were you I'd get really angry about sin, all sin.

Then I’d speak loud , faith-filled decrees of repentance and renunciations for each and every perverted image that floats around unabated in your thought life. 

Then I would command the power of these images to be broken in Jesus' name. 

Then I would command the images themselves to be shred to pieces and destroyed, in Jesus' name. 

Then I’d command the demons associated with each of the images to be systematically cast out, in Jesus' name. 

Then I would command my will to be loosed from the lusts of concupiscience.  

Then, based on Job 12:14 and Revelations 3:7,  I would command the doors to my sins to be shut by the Lord Jesus Christ, and sealed by the Holy Ghost, who is the earnest of my salvation.

Then I would comand the fear of the Lord upon my heart daily so that I can depart from evil. 

Then, according to Jeremiah 31:33 and Hebrews 8:10, and Hebrews 10:16, I would command God’s law to be written in my heart so I would not sin against God.  (the days will come saith the Lord when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel.  I will put my laws into their hearts and I will heal their backslidings.

Then I would decree prophetically the judgments of the Lord according to scriputure so that I could learn God's righteousness. 

Then I would thank the Lord with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my strength for his mighty deliverance; and thank him for feeding me with the butter and honey so that I would know to choose good and not evil.

Let God be true and every man a liar. 

Praise be unto the Lord Jesus Christ who is able, willing, patient, knowledgeable, and wise in setting people free from sin.

In Jesus’ name I would execute righteous judgment quickly according Ezra 7:26 upon my thought-life lest my heart deceives me and I think to set myself to do evil as outlined in Ecclesiastes 8:11.

This is why fasting and prayer is needed so that God’s judgments can be in the earth.  Man will only learn righteousness from Christ Jesus.

Oprah Winfrey has this New Age philosophy that she's pushing that talks about a Christ Consciousness. She also mentions that Jesus did not come in the world to die for our sins but to teach us how to live as full human beings. The bible says woe to them that call good evil and evil good. For those who don't know, the stage is being skillfully set for the anti-Christ.

First of all, Oprah was raped when she was young girl. The demons that came into her from that experience blocked her will from accepting Jesus Christ as her savior, though she attended church numerous times growing up. She's had to live her life with a false perspective of God's love based upon that early childhood incident....

Had she gone to a true deliverance ministry those demons would have been detected and cast out of her life in Jesus' name. But now, after she has worked her way through life and become a very influential woman over the years, she has now embraced a New Age philosophy to explain her deep hurts. And many are following her in this error.

There is no biblical bases for the term "Christ Consciousness". Philippians tells us to have the mind of Christ, as believers, not an "attitude" or "consciousness" of him. The mind of Christ can only be developed in a person through a lifestyle of submission to the Holy Ghost and obedience to God's word. Churches today have a very strong New Age spirit in operation and are deceiving many.

Let me clarify something. I'm not saying that Oprah was wrong because she was raped as a little girl. i'm saying that the incident scarred her with a false picture of the Lord. Jesus did not rape her, but Jesus is being blamed for it (via false doctrine). God the Father did not rape her, yet He is being blamed for it (via hatred towards God).

Let's state it plainly. demons were the ones responsible for ripping away Oprah's innocence by using the man who assaulted her. they filled that man with lust and violence and caused him to take advantage of her frailty. The Devil gets away with so much dirt that it's pathetic. This would not have happened to her had she been saturated in prayer by her parents. Because God is faithful to deliver.

People keep talking about how Christians need to be more tolerant, but Jesus clearly told us to not cast our pearls to the swine.  He told us that people who are actively in swine-status will turn around and tear at you.  The people who always say things like this must not have worked for anything of any real value in the Kingdom of God.  When you have labored to have a certain level of authority in the Spirit, you don't just throw what you have to undisciplined people.  They have no appreciation for the hard sacrifice and suffering that you have endured in order obtain your position spiritually.  Christianity is not a cake walk by any stretch of the imagination.  It is serious business that requires meekness and lowliness of heart in order to deny oneself, take up the cross daily, and to follow the risen Christ. Anybody can go after the world and corrupt themselves.  But only the righteous and pure in heart wil see God. 

 

I want to encourage those believers in Jesus who are truly paying the price for the Lord's name sake.  Keep your faith well-guarded and let no man or woman take your treasure from you; neither should you just throw your treasures to those who are untrustworthy and have not been tried in the fire.  Holiness and sanctification are pure treasures from heaven that are not to be repented of.  

 

In the words of James 1, "Pure religion and undefiled before God, and the Father, is to visit widows and orphans in their distress and to keep oneself unspotted by the world." (i.e holiness and sanctification)

Holiness is the back-drop upon which all of the attributes of God are displayed.  Holiness is the filter through which all the giftings and callings of God are to be manifested in the earth.  Holiness is the basis for which the love, mercy, and grace of God are extended to mankind.  Without the glory of God’s holiness as the standard, then there is no need to extend mercy and grace to those who have sinned and fallen short of it.  Therefore, God’s love in sending Jesus to die for our sins is also a direct manifestation of his holiness, seeing that Jesus is both God and man.  The Spirit of God's holiness will never lead any man, woman, boy or girl on a path of sin.  He will only lead a person on the path of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, which happens to be full of persecution and full of the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ.

People who are preaching a candy-coated gospel that a person can have Christ and have the world too are liars, and the truth us not in them.  You CANNOT have both God and have this present world.  Jesus makes it plain that if a person does not hate even his own life in this world, then he is not worthy of him.  Yea, all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  For, it is with much tribulation that we enter into the kingdom of God.

 

Many people want to sing, teach, and preach  the gospel after having made covenants with worldly organizations and think that because they have the world's influence, then they can also have true power in the gospel of Christ.  But this is falsehood.   A person must totally renounce his or her organization and worldly affiliations in order to do anything that is of true value for Christ.  It doesn't matter how gifted and talented the person may be.  If he or she is still friends with this world, then his works will be burnt up by the fire of the Holy Ghost on the Day of Judgment when God will render to every man according to his works.

I submit to you, beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you cannot serve two masters.  If God be God, then serve him, but if baal, then serve him.  But the God that answers by the fire of holiness and truth will prove himself to be God.

The wicked are blaspheming the Lord's name left and right.  Yet, the same Jesus who was there in the beginning with God extends himself to save all that will repent and call upon him in sincerity and truth.

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
1John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
 

Our faith, which is born of God, is in fact the victory that overcomes the world.  And the only ones who can overcome the world are those that believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  If our faith is not victorious, then there is no overcoming of worldliness in our own personal lives.  It behooves us then to build up ourselves in our most holy faith, praying always in the Holy Ghost according to Jude.  There can be no victory to ascribe to one's faith if he is not building himself up constantly in the Spirit of God.  Without the experiences of having victories, then how can one overcome the world? 

So then, if a person is addicted to something, whether video games, music, TV, food, sweets, etc. , then he is manifesting three things according to 1 John 5:4,5:

1. that he does not believe that Jesus is really the Son of God,

2. that he has no faith-filled victories from which to draw strength, thus proving his own impotence, and

3.  that he really is not born of God.

 

As Christians, it should be our daily goal to overcome the world, TODAY.  And when tomorrow comes, it now becomes TODAY, such that the same goal should apply. 

Matthew 6:34 - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.  Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

So then, it should be our goal to overcome TODAY's evil. 

So, how do you live holy?  One day at a time. 

As it relates to holiness, today is all that we're on the hook for.  Hebrews  3:13 tells us to exhort one another daily while it is called  Today, lest an evil heart of unbelief overtakes us.  Yesterday is not called "Today", and neither is tomorrow, until it becomes today.  So then the exhortation to uphold the faith is a daily exhortation.  Likewise, the requirement to overcome the world is a daily requirement.

So then beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, let us take hold of today and overcome its sufficient evils by our victorious faith in Jesus the Son of God.

Had a really nice all night prayer session at Greater Faith Ministries.  Been wanting to go to one of these at various churches for awhile.  It was good.  The first all night prayer at a church that my daughter has been able to go to.  She was trooping it with us for a while, then fell asleep.  She used to us praying loud at home late at night, so I guess it wasn't too hard to adjust to other people praying too.

Jehovah God speaking to Job:

Job 38:12     Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; 

Job 40:9       Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

Job 41:10     None is so fierce that dare stir [leviathan] up: who then is able to stand before me?

Young people,

Since you think that you know so much with all your many years of wisdom and knowledge, let me present the following to you:

1.  the word "woe" found in Isaiah 45 verse 9 means to take heed to this warning.  Woe to the person who fights against the Lord God our Maker.  You would at least be better off fighting someone who is your equal, meaning someone who was made from the dust just like you were, rather than fighting against the Almighty.  Since you and I are nothing but clay, we don't have any right to talk to God as though he makes mistakes.

2.  Have you, O knowledgeable young man, the power to command morning to come forward since you've been born?  Do you instruct the dayspring so that it knows its exact place of responsibility.  We know that the morning comes as result of the earth rotating on its axis in space.  So then, do you, O knowledgeable young man have power to keep earth rotating on its axis, or power to change its tilt?  Obviously not.

3.  Do you, O knowledgeable young woman, have strength in your arms that can match up against the strength the God Almighty?  Again, Obviously not.  So then why do you arrogantly present yourself, mincing along, as though you have no need for the Saviour and no need to submit to his Lordship? Is your voice so strong that it thunders with full authority like the Most High God?

4.  After God presents to Job just how strong the leviathan is, (who is immediately humbled by, and uses entreaties when in the presence of the Lord God Almighty), then the question gets posed as to who then is able to stand before the true and living God?

So, since I'm now out there on a limb and need to go somewhere with what I'm saying, let's address a few of today's mainstream issues.

What's up with all the tattoos and body piercings… in the church?

 Tattoos and Body Piercing - Leviticus 19:28 "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD."

Biblically speaking it was always understood that cutting one's flesh and printing marks and symbols on one's body were evidence of  a person's loyalty to some idol god.  And in the New Testament Paul tells us that every idol is in fact a devil.  So then, for those who call themselves believers in, and followers of, Jesus Christ, we are made kings and priest unto God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelations 5:10).

As priests unto God, and servants of Jesus Christ, we are forbidden by scripture from taking part in any practice whose roots can be traced back to idolatry!!!  Hence, tattoos and body piercings are not for the true Christian. 

I’ve heard preachers say that the writing of “King of Kings and Lord of lords” on Jesus’ thigh is actually a carving, or printing, like a tattoo.  So they have used this to say that tattoos are ok.  Moreover, others have used the scripture in Revelations of God’s name being in the foreheads of the redeemed as being justification for tattooing.  I totally disagree with using these scriptures as justification for tattoos.  First of all, there is only 1 King of kings, who just happens be the 1 and only Lord of Lords, who just happens to be the Word of God made flesh, who just happens to have been there with God in the beginning of all creation, who just happens to be God Almighty, the Creator of the universe.  So, he can do whatever he wants, since he has the preeminence, according to the book of Colossians. If Jesus wants to write "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" on his thigh, then that is his prerogative. And that is in no way a license for us to go off printing marks on ourselves, making cuttings into our flesh.

People who already have tattoos look for reasons to justify the tattoo.  This one pastor who used the above scripture happens to have tattoos, and advertises his ministry as one that openly embraces people’s tattoos.  I personally  think that this is ridiculous!!!  Let’s state it plainly: Any symbol that is cultic and/or demonic in nature brings with it demons assigned to that particular symbol.   So, it DOES matter that you have tattoos on your body.  A person with a Playboy tattoo will always be plagued by spirits of lust associated with the symbol.  No only that but those spirits will always serve to divert the attention that is rightfully due to Christ Jesus and put the attention on the person who sports the tattoo.  This person is never content with godliness because the demons won't allow him to be.  they continually rob him of everything that is wholesome and pour such that he cannot consistently know the love Jesus Christ.  It will always be sporadic for or her because the demons will not just politely sit back and allow a person to draw close to God while he is bearing their symbols on his body.  The symbol must eventually be removed if he or she is ever to grow to the full stature and measure of Christ. 

Likewise, people who have received hot-iron brands associated with their particular fraternity or sorority will always be plagued by the demons associated with the organization.  This is true no matter how much they claim loyalty to Jesus Christ.  I personally think that they would have to have the skin grafted in order to actually have the brand removed.  This is serious business!  People are pledging themselves to cultic organizations and receiving on their bodies the symbols associated with the organization, not knowing that they are really pledging a life-long allegiance to the demons governing that organization.  Then they wonder why they can’t get close to God like they want to.  They go to church and try to get serious, only to have a spiritual door slammed in their face repeatedly.  Then they blame the church or the people in the church for not having any real power and for being hypocrites.  Yet, they never stop to think that they must aggressively renounce their oaths to their organizations and do whatever it takes to remove any of the organizations’ symbols from their lives, and especially from their bodies.

I ministered to a young gentleman about 6 years ago who came down at the alter call.  While in one of the back rooms I spoke with him and he shared freely his new desire to receive Christ into his heart and that he wanted his life to be better than what it was.  He shared for about 20 minutes, and I didn’t interrupt him at all.  When he finished I gently asked about his tattoo on his arm.  It was a voodoo totem pole with 3 faces, one stacked on top of the other.

I asked him about it because in my heart I couldn’t see him reaching his potential in Christ as long as he was carrying around this constant reminder of his previous life.  (Not to mention the demons associated with his possible participation in voodoo).  Before I got around to telling him this he lowered his head in shame and admitted that he wished he had ever gotten it.  He new that it was devilish and while he was living like a devil it was ok for him to have it.  But when his heart was changed, he despised the symbol that he was once so proud of having.  Again, I didn’t coax him at all into feeling this way.  He got the revelation on his own and said that he was going to get it removed.

My wife just recently read an article stating that hepatitis was being widely spread through the needles of these tattoo shops.  The article also said that many people were unhappy with their tattoos and were getting them removed.  It said that dermatologists were making a rather handsome living off of people who wanted the tattoo removed because the procedure costs ~ $7000.  WOWWWWWWW!!   That’s a lot of money needed to have your demonic/cultic symbol removed.  Perhaps the people should have known this prior to getting the tattoo. 

Ok, now let’s consider something not as drastic as a demonic symbol.  Let’s say a girl is deeply infatuated with some guy.  He likes her and she is crazy about him (or vice versa).  Whatever the case, one of them goes on and gets a tattoo of the person’s name, thus symbolizing their loyalty to that person.  While this may be flattering initially, the other person is starting to think that things are moving just a little too fast and that he or she is not ready for a total commitment to this person.  So they break up for some stupid reason and go their separate ways.  How long do you think it will take for jealousy to be aroused in the next boyfriend/girlfriend?  Will the next boyfriend/girlfriend just sit back and politely approve of some other person’s name being tattooed to this person’s body part somewhere?  This is destined to promote all kinds of jealousy and rage, even before the friendship can turn into anything that is wholesome and pure before God.  The bible says that jealousy is as cruel as the grave.  

So then, we must ask the question: How ridiculous is it for these teens to get a tattoo of their boyfriend or girlfriend’s name, only to break up with him or her shortly after and then have to deal with the constant reminder of that other person?

For those who don’t have a tattoo, please do whatever it takes to avoid getting them.  For those who have tattoos, please do whatever it takes to eventually have them removed.  You will never enter into the rest that the Holy Ghost has for you as long as you're still carrying around the symbols of your loyalty to strange gods.

Young people, what's going on with you?  Why are your hearts so hardened?  What evil has God done to you that you can so easily turn from righteousness to iniquity?

Why are you so geared towards things that are self-destructive? Is there no love of Jesus Christ anywhere in your hearts?  Has your love for worldly lusts surpassed the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ in your opinion?

Why to you listen to music that glorifies drugs, sex, and blasphemy?

Why are drugs, weed, sex,  and alcoholism so important to you?  Shouldn't you much rather be focused on pursuing your God-given purpose and destiny in Christ Jesus?

What makes you think that the world will protect you and do you good when it clearly didn't do good or protect the generation before you? 

Do you think that you will conquer the world, even though you still lack discipline in some very critical areas? 

Why would you entertain religious beliefs of those who are not devoted to the holiness of Jesus Christ?  Do you not recognize the danger in this?

I beseech you, dear young people, by the mercies of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

I beseech you, dear young man, dear young woman, that you not be conformed to this world, but that you be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ by the renewing of your mindset through God's word.

Why is it so easy to turn to the ways and friendships of worldliness when you turn 17, 18, 19, 20, or 21?  When you were younger and hungry, it was the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that caused your parents to provide food, clothing, and shelter for you on a consistent basis.  Do you have any idea how much of a sacrifice it was on your parents just to provide your basic necessities consistently? 

When you were too frail to do anything of significance for yourself, it was the Lord's grace to cause your parents to fast and pray for your healing and wholeness.  Do you not understand the value in this?

When you were lonely and feeling rejected and abandoned, it was the grace of Lord Jesus Christ to cause your parents to lay prostrate before God in order to break the shackles of depression from your life.  Do you not recognize the value in this?

When you went to church and did not understand what was going on, it was the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that caused your parents to take the time to explain the scriptures to you on a level that you could understand.  This was done so that you would desire a sincere relationship with the Lord of heaven and earth who knew you before you were even in your mother's womb.  Do you not recognize the value in this either?

Dearest young people, full rebellion and deceit,

Jesus Christ loves you more than you can understand.  But I implore you to repent and to turn whole-heartedly to the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and turn to the true fellowship of the sufferings of Jesus Christ because the days are very evil.  The world is mercilessly swallowing up your peers left and right, and right before your eyes.  You know what I'm saying is true.  Do your hearts deceive you into thinking that you can listen to the same music that these peers have listened to, yet not be effected by it?  Have you deceived yourselves into believing lies that Satan loves you? 

Do you not understand that God's grace is to those who are humble, but he proactively resists those who are proud and haughty?  Are you so strong as to fight against the Lord God Almighty?  Do you not know that God's chastisement, apart from his mercy, far exceeds anything that the world, or Satan, could do to you?  Do you not understand that just like God's love is from everlasting to everlasting, so is his wrath against the children of disobedience?

Will you harbor bitterness towards your parents, and then do the same sins that your parents did which brought about God's judgment upon them?  Wouldn't it be better to let go of the bitterness and anger and keep yourselves from the iniquities of the parents and fore-parents?  Wouldn't it be better to keep yourselves unspotted by the world rather than becoming a friend of the world at the expense of becoming God's enemy?

Again young people, repentance is being offered to you right now through humble faith in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the day that you hear  his voice, do not harden your hearts.  You don't come to the Lord Jesus Christ when you feel like it.  You come when the Spirit of God draws you, regardless of how inconvenient it may be for you.  By your willful sins and rebellion you have made contracts with death and hell, whether you know or not; or whether you agree with what I'm saying or not.  What I'm saying is truth that stands regardless of your unbelief.  You don't know, young people, when Death and Hell will cash in on the terms and conditions of the contracts that you have made with them based upon your willful sins and disobedience. 

Turn NOW to Jesus Christ and ask him to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you of ALL unrighteousness.  He is faithful to do so when you turn to him with all your heart, soul, and strength.

 The symbol found on some of the New King James Bibles is called a tri-queta symbol.  This same symbol is found on books from the occult. Why does a bible publisher use the same symbol on the bible that is knowing used on cultic / witchcraft books?

The Preface to the New King James Version (NKJV) reads, "A special feature of the New King James Version is ITS CONFORMITY to the thought flow of the 1611 Bible. . . the new edition, while much clearer ARE SO CLOSE to the traditional. . ."

Among the first changes that greets the reader of the NKJV is the removal of the much maligned "thee, thou and ye". The Preface to the NKJV states, ". . .thee, thou, and ye are replaced by the simple you,. . .These pronouns are no longer part of our language." But "thee, thou and ye" were "NO LONGER part of the language" during 1611 either. (just read the intro to the 1611 King James, there are no "thee", "thou" and "ye"). In fact, Webster's Third New International Dictionary, says of ye: "used from the earliest of times to the late 13th century. . ." (p.2648) And yet the 1611 King James was published 400 years later in the 17th century!

 

So why are they there?

The Greek and Hebrew language contain a different word for the second person singular and the second person plural pronouns. Today we use the one-word "you" for both the singular and plural. But because the translators of the 1611 King James Bible desired an accurate, word-for-word translation of the Hebrew and Greek text - they could NOT use the one-word "you" throughout! If it begins with "t" (thou, thy, thine) it's SINGULAR, but if it begins with "y" (ye) it's PLURAL. Ads for the NKJV call it "the Accurate One", and yet the 1611 King James, by using "thee", "thou", "ye", is far more accurate!

By the way, if the "thee's" and "thou's" are ". . .no longer part of our language" - why aren't the NKJV translators rushing to make our hymnbooks "much clearer"? "How Great Thou Art" to "How Great You Are", or "Come Thou Fount" to "Come You Fount" Doesn't sound right, does it? Isn't it amazing that they wouldn't dare "correct" our hymns - and yet, without the slightest hesitation, they'll "correct" the word of God!

The NKJV claims to make the "old" KJV "much clearer" by "updating obsolete words" (New King James Version, 1982e. p. 1235)

How about that "obsolete word" - "hell". The NKJV removes the word "hell" 23 times! And how do they make it "much clearer"? By replacing "hell" with "Hades" and "Sheol"! Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary defines Hades: "the underground abode of the dead in Greek MYTHOLOGY". By making it "much clearer" - they turn your Bible into MYTHOLOGY! Not only that, Hades is not always a place of torment or terror! The Assyrian Hades is an abode of blessedness with silver skies called "Happy Fields". In the satanic New Age Movement, Hades is an intermediate state of purification!

Who in their right mind would think "Hades" or "Sheol" is "up-to-date" and "much clearer" than "hell"?

Matthew 16:18

KJV: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
NKJV: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."

Luke 16:23

KJV: "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."
NKJV: "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

Hell is removed in 2 Sam. 22:6, Job 11:8, 26:6, Psalm 16:10, 18:5, 86:13, 116:3, Isaiah 5:14, 14:15, 28:15,18, 57:9, Jonah 2:2, Matt. 11:23, 16:18, Luke 10:15, 16:23, Acts 2:27, 31, Rev. 1:18, 6:8, 20:13,14.

Then the NKJV decides that maybe "Hades" should be "grave"! So the NKJV makes 1 Corinthians 15:55 "much clearer" by changing "grave" to "Hades"! ". . . O Hades, where is your victory?" Clear as mud. . .

Another one of those "obsolete words" is "repent". They take it out 44 times! And how does the NKJV make it "much clearer"? In Matthew 21:32 they use "relent". Matthew 27:3 it's "remorseful" Or Romans 11:29 they change "repentance" to "irrevocable".

The term "new testament" is NOT in the NKJV! (see Matt. 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, 1 Cor. 11:25, 2 Cor. 3:6, Heb. 9:15,) The NKJV replaces "new testament" with "new covenant" (ditto NIV, NRSV, RSV, NASV). An obvious assault at the written word!

The word "damned", "damnation" is NOT in the NKJV! They make it "much clearer" by replacing it with "condemn" (ditto NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV). "Condemned" is NO WHERE NEAR AS SERIOUS as "damned"! Damned is eternal! One can be "condemned" and not "damned". Romans 14:22 says, ". . . Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth." Webster defines "condemned": to declare to be wrong, but the much more serious and eternal "damn": "to condemn to hell".

The word "devils" (the singular, person called the "devil" is) is NOT in the NKJV! Replaced with the "transliterated" Greek word "demon" (ditto NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV). The Theosophical Dictionary describes demon as: ". . . it has a meaning identical with that of 'god', 'angel' or 'genius'". Even Vines Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words (p.157) defines "demon" as: "an inferior deity, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD". Webster defines "demon" as: "divinity, spirit, an attendant power or spirit", but "devil" as: "the personal supreme spirit of EVIL. . ."

In 2 Timothy 2:15, the NKJV (like the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV) remove that "obsolete" word - "study"! The only time you're told to "study" your Bible. AND THEY ZAP IT! Why don't they want you to "study" your Bible? Maybe they don't want you to look too close - you might find out what they've ACTUALLY done to your Bible! The "real" KJV is the only English Bible in the world that instructs you to "study" your Bible!

That "obsolete" word "virtue" is replaced with "power" in Mark 5:30, Luke 6:19, 8:46! How does anybody confuse "virtue" with "power"? Simple - by being "bosom-buddies" with the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV! That's what they did!

One of the most absurd changes ever made is changing the word "servant" to "slave"! The NKJV in Romans 6:22, reads: "But now having been set FREE from sin, and having become SLAVES OF GOD. . ." The NKJV, in 1 Corinthians 7:22, calls the Christian, "Christ's slave". Talk about a contradiction! John 8:36 says, "If the Son therefore shall make you FREE, YE SHALL BE FREE INDEED." But isn't a Christian supposed to serve? Yes, in love. Not as a slave! Galatians 5:13 explains it, perfectly: "For, brethren, ye have been called unto LIBERTY;(not slavery!) only use not LIBERTY for an occasion to the flesh, but BY LOVE SERVE one another."

In order to "harmonize" with the satanic New Age Movement (and of course the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!), the NKJV changes "end of the WORLD" to "end of the AGE"! And in it's no longer the "WORLD to come" but "AGE to come". The New Age Movement teaches a series of ages (hence the name: New AGE). See Matthew 12:32, 13:39, 13:40, 13:49, 24:3, 28:20, Mark 10:30, Luke 13:30, 20:34,35, 1 Cor 1:21.

The New Age Movement and the occult are longing for one called the Maitreya. The Bible calls him the Anti-Christ. New Ager's refer to him as the "the Coming One" - AND SO DOES THE NKJV! In Luke 7:19, 20 (see also Matt 11:3) John told his disciples to ask Jesus: "Are You THE COMING ONE. . ." In the "The Great Invocation", a "prayer" highly reverenced among New Agers and chanted to "invoke" the Maitreya, says, "Let Light and Love and Power and Death, Fulfil the purpose of the Coming One."

And to REALLY show their sympathy with the satanic New Age Movement - BELIEVE IT OR NOT - in Acts 17:29 the New Age NKJV changes "Godhead" to "Divine Nature"! ( ditto NIV, NASV)

And if you think the NKJV just "innocently" updated the "obsolete words", removed the "thee's and thou's" - here's what the translators proudly admit: "IT IS CLEAR that this revision REQUIRED more than the dropping of "-eth" endings, removing, "thee's" and "thou's," and updating obsolete words." (The New King James Version, 1982e. p. 1235)

 

AND THEY AIN'T JUST A KIDDIN'!

 

Here's a sampling of the required changes:

Genesis 2:18: The NKJV ought to make Hillary Clinton proud: "And the Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper COMPARABLE TO HIM"

Genesis 22:8: One of the greatest verses in the Bible proclaiming that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh: "God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:" The NKJV adds that little word "for": "God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering" And destroys the wonderful promise! Where'd they get their little "for"? From the NASV!

Genesis 24:47: The "old" KJV reads: "I put the earring upon her face". But the NKJV has different plans for beautiful Rebekah: "I put the nose ring on her nose". Where did it get the ridiculous idea to "cannibalize" Rebekah? Just take a peek at the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!

Ezra 8:36: The KJV reads, "And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants. . ." The "much clearer" NKJV reads, "And they delivered the king's orders to the king's satraps. . ." Who in the world thinks "satraps" is "much clearer" than lieutenants? The NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV - they do! They put in the same "much clearer" word!

Psalms 109:6: removes "Satan". (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV).

Matthew 7:14: change "narrow is the way" to "difficult is the way". There's nothing "difficult" about the salvation of Jesus Christ! Jesus says in Matt. 11:30, "For my yoke is EASY, and my burden is light." THE EXACT OPPOSITE! Boy, you talk about a contradiction!

Matthew 12:40: change "whale" to "fish" (ditto NIV) I don't guess it matters (what's the truth got to do with it?), the Greek word used in Matthew 12:40 is ketos. The scientific study of whales just happens to be - CETOLOGY - from the Greek ketos for whale and logos for study! The scientific name for whales just happens to be - CETACEANS - from the Greek ketos for whale!

Matthew 18:26 & Matthew 20:20: The NKJV removes "worshipped him" (robbing worship from Jesus) (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Mark 13:6 & Luke 21:8: removes "Christ" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

John 1:3: change "All things were made BY him;" to "All things were made THROUGH Him" (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

John 4:24: change "God is a spirit" to the impersonal, New Age pantheistic,"God is spirit" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

John 14:2: (NKJV 1979 edition) change "mansions" to "dwelling places" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

John 14:16: change "comforter" to "helper"(refers to Holy Spirit) (NASV)

Acts 4:27, 30: change "holy child" to "holy servant" (refers to Jesus) (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Acts 12:4: change "Easter" to "Passover" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Acts 17:22: changes "superstitious" to "religious" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Acts 24:14: change "heresy" to "sect" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Romans 1:18: change "hold the truth" to "suppress the truth" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Romans 1:25: change "changed the truth" to "exchanged the truth" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Romans 5:8: change "commendeth" to "demonstrates" (NIV, NASV)

Romans 16:18: change "good words and fair speeches" to "smooth words and flattering speech" (NIV, NASV, NRSV)

1 Cor. 1:21: change "foolishness of preaching" to "foolishness of the message preached" (ditto NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV) There's nothing foolish about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Unless you're not saved! 1 Cor. 1:18 says: "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish FOOLISHNESS. . ." I wonder where that leaves the translators of the NKJV, NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV?

1 Cor. 1:22: change "require" to "request" (NASV)

1 Cor. 6:9: removes "effeminate" (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

1 Cor. 9:27: change "castaway" to "disqualified" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 2:10: change "person of Christ" to "presence of Christ" (NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 2:17: With all the "corruptions" in the NKJV, you'd expect 2 Cor. 2:17 to change. IT DOES! They change, "For we not as many which CORRUPT the word of God" to "For we are not, as so many, PEDDLING the word of God" (ditto NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 5:17: change "new creature" to "new creation" (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 10:5: change "imaginations" to "arguments". Considering New Age "imaging" and "visualization" is now entering the church, this verse in the "old" KJV just won't do. (NIV, RSV)

2 Cor. 11:6: change "rude in speech" to "untrained in speech" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Gal. 2:20: omit "nevertheless I live" (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Phil. 2:6: (NKJV 1979e.) change "thought it not robbery to be equal with God" to "did not consider equality with God something to be grasped". (robs Jesus Christ of deity) (NIV, NASV, RSV)

Phil. 3:8: change "dung" to "rubbish" (NIV, NASV, NRSV)

1 Thess. 5:22 change "all appearance of evil" to "every form of evil" (NASV, RSV, NSRV)

1 Timothy 6:5: The NKJV changes "gain is godliness" to "godliness is a MEANS OF gain". There are NO Greek texts with "means of" in them! Where, oh where, did they come from? Care to take a wild guess? YOU GOT IT! The NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!

1 Timothy 6:10: The NKJV changes "For the love of money is the root of all evil:" to "For the love of money is a root of all KINDS OF evil". The words "KINDS OF" are found in NO Greek text in the world! Where did they get them? Straight from the NIV, NASV, NRSV!

1 Tim. 6:20: change "science" to "knowledge" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Titus 3:10: change "heretic" to "divisive man" (NIV)

Hebrews 4:8 & Acts 7:45: "Jesus" is changed to "Joshua". (NIV, NASV, RSV)

2 Pet. 2:1: change "damnable heresies" to "destructive heresies" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

1 John 3:16: remove "love of God"; (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

1 John 5:13: The NKJV reads: "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may CONTINUE TO believe in the name of the Son of God." They add "CONTINUE TO" without any Greek text whatsoever! Not even the perverted NIV, NASV, NRSV and RSV go that far! A cruel, subtil (see Genesis 3:1) attack on the believer's eternal security!

Rev. 2:13: change "Satan's seat" to "Satan's throne" (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Rev. 6:14: "Heaven" is changed to "sky" in (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

 

AND THAT DOESN'T SCRATCH THE SURFACE OF ALL THE CHANGES!

The NKJV removes the word "Lord" 66 times!

The NKJV removes the word God 51 times!

The NKJV removes the word "heaven" 50 times!

In just the New Testament alone the NKJV removes 2.289 words from the KJV!

The NKJV makes over 100,000 word changes!

And most will match the NIV, NASV, RSV, or RSV!

 

And Thomas Nelson Publishers have the audacity to claim in an ad for the NKJV (Moody Monthly, June 1982, back cover), "NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED except to make the original meaning clearer."

 

The New King James is a COUNTERFEIT!

 

It's NOT NEW! The changes are already in the NIV, NASV, NRSV, or RSV!

 

And it's certainly NOT true to the 1611 King James Bible!

The chart below illustrates what was done when the text used by Christianity for 1800 years was replaced with a text assembled by Brook Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort in the nineteenth century and used as the basis for the English Revised Version, which nearly all modern translations closely follow.

The text shown here is the King James Version. Words, sentences, or entire verses in strikethrough illustrate portions that have been removed from the text underlying the KJV New Testament. Not all modern versions are the same. Sometimes the ESV will include a word the NIV doesn't, or the NASB might omit a phrase the NIV and NRSV both retain, etc... but for the most part, the examples below represent nearly all of the popular modern versions. I write this blog with heavy heart and with tears.  I want to appeal to that man who is now in a 2nd marriage and has children from both marriages.  This man feels trapped in that he doesn't know how to please both sides.  He knows that a part of him exists in those children from the first marriage, but the demands of his present marriage are such that he spends no time with the children from the first marriage.  Moreover, because of this unstable state, he is not able to commit his attention to the children in his present marriage either.  Whatever the present situation is in life, it seems that both sets of children are coming up short; however, the children from the 1st marriage are getting an even shorter end of the stick since the father does not physically live with them anymore.

My dearest Father in heaven, in the name of your dear Son Yeshua,

 I pray for the wisdom right now, Holy Spirit, for how to pray.  I am at a loss for words of my own, and just want every problem to be fixed over night.  God i am literally awestruck as to how much power the world has to destroy little precious lives left and right.  God I pray for the protection and mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical healing for the children of these types of blended family situations.  Lord, it is not the fault of the children.  There didn't ask to be here, neither did they ask to be born into such unstable circumstances in this world.

God I pray for the heart of the father of these children to be burdened by your Spirit such that godly sorrow and true repentance have the preeminence in his life.  In Jesus' name i bind and cast out the spirits that have bound his mind, will, and emotions, causing him to feel trapped and powerless.  I bind and cast out, in Jesus' name the spirits of selfishness, entrapment and hopelessness, right now; and speak salvation, deliverance, healing, strength and meekness to him right now in Jesus' mighty name.

 In the name of the Lord Jesus' Christ, I bind and cast out witchcrafts and sorceries concerning the children.  In Jesus' name, i bind and cast out the spirits of neglect, apathy, abandonment, rejection, self-hatred, pride and distortion, right now.  In Jesus' mighty name I bind and cast out Forsaken and Desolate concerning these precious souls, right now.

God, I pray your covering of the children for your mercy's sake.  Lord, we deserve to be totally rejected by you because of our iniquities and evil hearts.  But God, i cry out to you on behalf of the children and the fathers.  God I offer up this prayer as one making up the hedge on their behalf and thank you for hearing prayer and for receiving this offering of intercession this day.  God, your word says that if we know that you hear us, then we shall have the things that we ask of you.  So, thank you Father in heaven for hearing and answering.

Thank you Holy Spirit for giving me some kind of direction for this prayer of intercession.  I didn't know how to pray as i should, but you have made intercession for me with groans that i literally could not utter.  You have given me words with which to pray and to petition the Father's throne in faith and in a manner that pleases him.  For that I am grateful.  Thank you.

Many people are not sure how to stand on God's word as it relates to being blessed.  The scriptures say that promotion comes from the Lord, but we are commanded to speak God's word in the earth to bring it into fruition so that it will not return to the Lord as void.  Many people seem to be waiting for God to speak something else from heaven that he has not already spoken.  Yet, the scriptures tell us that we who are believers in Jesus Christ have his Spirit, whereby we cry Abba, Father.  The Spirit of Christ is also the Spirit of God that now dwells in the heart of every true believer in Jesus Christ.  therefore, it is up to us to continue speaking the word of the Lord from heaven.

The bible says in Psalms 29 that the voice of the LORD is like the mighty waves.  In other words, God's speech is loud as it relates to heaven.  There is agreement in heaven concerning this that nothing of what God has spoken will go unfulfilled.  However, in the earth, is your voice loud when it comes to speaking God's word over your life and the lives of your children?  Do you cry loud and spare not, as it relates to showing God's people their transgression?

Do you watch over God's word in your life as a delicate garden that needs attention to detail? or do just simply speak something one time and call it a day?

I suggest to the beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ that when we recognize evil patterns occurring in our lives that hinder us, that we cry loud against it and not spare to reprove evil.  Moreover, God holds his people responsible many times to command the blessing that is supposed to occur in their lives.  This is a part of the agreement in the earth that heaven is often times looking for.  (Jesus said, "Yet when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith in the earth?") 

The doctrines of devils have gotten many of God's people operating either in ignorance or in false humility in that they seem to refuse to take up the offensive weaponry and fight the good fight of faith.  Faith is a good thing, and it is worth fighting for.  Moreover, the faith of Jesus Christ is what enables us to live the life that we now live as Christians.   Furthermore, we are the ones responsible for commanding the blessing of God in our own lives and the lives of others.  We are also the ones responsible for executing righteous judgment in the earth.  God doesn't look to the unsaved to wrought righteousness in the earth. He looks to those who are supposed to be operating in the faith of only begotten Son.

This is not for selfish ambition, obviously.  But It is for freeing up God's people so that their faith would not be subverted by devilish hindrances.  We ask seek and knock by faith.  We also receive the answer by faith.  We also act on God's word by faith.  So then it is all by faith, in accordance with the Father's love.

So then, stop waiting for God to crack the sky open for you and to do something that he has already empowered you to do.  Many people are due for job promotions, but for some reason they just keep getting skipped over.  Well, perhaps we can't command the promotion per se, but we can command God's favor to rest on us in the eyes of those doing the evaluations.  We can bind, in Jesus' name, the evil spirits that have been sent out to impede our progress.  Moreover, we can take authority over our own words and make sure that we're not speaking doubt, fear, and unbelief into our own spirit.

There are people who have very noticeable demonic strategies set up against them when it comes to certain things, and these people think that they are doing God's will by saying that "Oh well, the Lord knows what is best." Yes, the Lord knows what is is best, but many times God WILL NOT move on our behalf until we take up the offensive and command blessing and favor into our own lives and the lives of our children.  To him, this fulfills the scripture that his word will not return to him void. 

News Flash: It is our responsibility to ensure that God's word does not return to him void. This is one of the offerings that we are suppose to bring to him on a regular basis. (John 17 - Father I have glorified thee in the earth, i have finished the work that you have given me.) 

The devil keeps getting away with slapping many believers around with false doctrine, with false hope and with false humility.  Yet God tells me to "Cry loud and spare not.  Show my people their transgression in not walking in the faith of my dear Son Yeshua.  My Son was fully trust worthy with every word that proceeded from my mouth", says the Lord God.  "Therefore I expect my children, who are born of my Spirit to be trustworthy like him."  Just like God took of Moses' spirit and put in on 70 elders to judge rightly amongst Israel, he has given those, whose faith is in the blood of Jesus Christ, Jesus' Spirit to make the crooked ways straight and the rough places plain.  

I'm not a prosperity preacher necessarily, but i do know that there are times when God's people are held back from getting what the Father has rightfully ordained for them to have.  Often times they are greatly hindered by demonic networks and strategies that have been working against them for years.

Personal Example (as it relates to healing):

When I was a young boy my voice used to squeak like you wouldn't believe.  It was literally difficult and painful to speak above a whisper most times. All through my teenage years it was a torment to even say my own name.  I remember refusing to speak when my name was called during roll call in school because it was so difficult and the kids used to laugh at me.  I grew up with a lot of bitterness in my heart towards God because I had asked him numerous times to heal me, only to be short changed again and again.  The church that i grew up in didn't believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, neither did it believe in taking up the offensive against demonic strategies that were occurring against God's people.  

This severe speech impediment was so crippling that I lived in continual frustration.  After a long time, just like any kid who suffers some type of debilitating ailment, I learned to live with it and to just deal with it.  It wasn't until I was grown and had my first engineering job (with insurance) that a doctor was able to tell me that I had allergies that swelled up my throat.  This is why it was so difficult to talk. 

Before long I started controlling my eating habits and guarding things that caused the allergic reactions in my trachea. 

Before I found out though that it was allergies, I used to drive up and down the freeway in my car yelling scriptures at the top of my lungs. "Blessed  is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doeth he meditate day and night."

My voice started to clear up dramatically the more i did this. 

It wasn't until I took up faith in speaking loudly God's word that my voice started getting better.  So then, God wasn't the culprit, but Satan was.  Yes it was allergies, but it was demons that accentuated the allergies and tormented me for so many years.  It wasn't that God didn't hear my prayers for healing, but he REQUIRES faith.  None of the tactics that I operated in previously were considered faith in his eyes.  But when I got radical and started YELLING scriptures, with no regard for how i sounded to myself, then bondages started releasing.

 

Praise God for true faith in Jesus Christ and in God's word.

While surfing the web I came across some really nice ministry websites.  It would seem that the Lord is working through his body in today's technological age.   I was very impressed.  This is one of many times I've done this and each time I've been impressed with what I've seen. 

 

Yet, the Holy Spirit never lets me get comfortable with seeing those things because he has a specific work for me to do.  God told me about 7 years ago that he had called me to be a teacher in the body of Christ, and that my obedience to that calling would turn the hearts of the parents pack towards their children.  In particular, I would be used to help turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children as stated in Malachi.  He told me that this is the spirit of Elijah and this is why Elijah outshined all of the prophets of his day.  (I always wondered what made Elijah so special when the bible clearly tells us that there companies of prophets in several cities, and that each school of prophets knew the day that Elijah would be taken to heaven.  Obviously they were all gifted with the spirit of prophecy.)  I believe that answer lies in the type of heart that Elijah must have had.  You don't know that he had a heart to turn fathers back to their children and children back to their fathers until you get to Malachi, written many years after Elijah's departure.  I also believe that the lack of this type of heart is probably why Elisha, the protégé of Elijah, is not mentioned any more in scripture as was his mentor.  Mister double portion was so anointed that someone was raised from the dead when the dead body fell into Elisha's grave.  So obviously this man was definitely anointed, even after his death.  But, the bible also says that it was a disease that caused Elisha's death.  Now, according to scripture, God brought on, or allowed, a disease upon his people because of some disobedience somewhere.  With Elisha being such mighty prophet, he certainly knew this.  The bible doesn't say emphatically that Elisha sinned against the Lord God, but is does say that it was a disease that killed him.  And the scriptures also tell us that disease was one of God's judgments in Deuteronomy 28 for rebellion and disobedience. 

My point here is that perhaps Elisha, though having received a double portion of Elijah's anointing as it relates to the miraculous, may have missed the very heart of his mentor by not continuing to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.  Perhaps this was the downfall, assuming that death by disease was in fact God's judgment against Elisha for some act of disobedience.  In other places in the Old Testament, at least as it relates to the kings, the records state that a king did good (or evil) like one of his previous fathers.  Yet, the prophets were not necessarily recorded in such way.  The prophets were always held accountable to how obedient they were in their present lifetime.  E.G. God didn't reference the sins of Eli's forefathers when Eli was judged for his sons' behavior.  God simply told young Samuel what he was going to do to Eli and Eli's children forever.  (Eli was a priest, who prophesied Hannah’s baby.  Therefore, he was used briefly as a prophet)

With all of this said, let me get back to my original point of this blog.  There are so many talented and gifted men and women in the body of Christ today that it truly is mind-boggling sometimes.  We see people who have anointing to knock people over in the power of the Holy Spirit.  We see miraculous healing being done in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We hear statistics of how many men and women have had their lives dramatically changed for Jesus Christ through various ministries.  There are many ministries of worship music that just warm a person's heart when the CD is played.  And list goes on and on.  And I don't take away from these things at all.  Praise the Lord for moving by his Spirit throughout the earth today.

Yet, I can't help but wonder why there are so many unfulfilled believers in the body of Christ today.  The word of the Lord appears to be going forth in power through the mouths of many pastors and prophets, and leaders, and teachers.  Yet, there is a clear, noticeable void that seems to exist in the lives of the vast majority of Christians today.  WHY! 

1.  I think so because the churches seemed to be designed around the newborn babes in Christ.  Let's face it, God makes many of is seasoned servants, who have somehow gotten lazy, jealous by pouring out abundant grace on the new believers.  Romans tell us that the gentiles are given such abundant grace in order to make the Jews jealous so that the Jews will also desire God in the same way that he desires them.

2. the churches seem to be geared towards corporate structure just like the corporations of the world.  Part of this is because of the legal rules, regulations, and restrictions that exist in today's society.  Everything has to be copyrighted, else someone will steal your idea and make a million dollars from it, even in church.  Many people say they don't care about money until something happens like this; someone else's ministry starts booming based off some teachings that a person got from somebody else.  So, I guess this falls under the category of thievery in the body of Christ.

3.  Legalities.  Legally speaking, if a person takes the words of someone like a clergyman or clergywoman, and follows those words to something that ends up inadvertently causing harm to himself or herself, then he or she could sue the clergyman.  Or, the church that this clergyman represents could be sued or held liable.  Even if the church wins the court case and the lawsuit gets overturned, thrown out, or counter-sued, the church still ends up spending a ton of money on lawyers, and enormous amounts of time spent in this area.  It is very costly financially, spiritually, and physically.  Not to mention very discouraging to the ministry whose original intent was to just help a person out of a very difficult situation.

So then, what’s the solution?

 

I think that a portion of the solution is to work from the inside out as it relates to families and marriages.  Get the family member freed in Christ through deliverance and watch God’s power work in one life after the other. 

 

All churches are limited somewhere by the legalities that exist in the society.  This means that their words are almost always tempered by the fears of legal repercussions, i.e. lawsuits. 

 

This fear is so real that it is what the gay rights movement is using in corporations all over.  The latest thing now is the idea of “diversity” and “inclusion”.  If you stand on God’s word and say that sin is sin according to the bible, then your ministry now runs the risk of being sued by some disgruntled person.

 

Persecution from the world is hard enough to deal with.  But persecution from within the body of Christ is extremely discouraging.  Paul said that we should take heed to ourselves because if we bite and devour one another, then we will be consumed by one another.  In other words, it’s a bad thing.

 

So then, it would seem that it comes down to a “survival of the fittest” mentality that exists in the body of Christ.  We know that this exists in the world, but it seems to be what’s driving much of the body of Christ as well.

On one hand I understand the mentality because when you have family you are supposed to provide for and protect them.  Well, provision in this world is always tied to financial resources, while protection is always tied to strength and authority that has been given to you.

When the world hates you and removes these two things from you, then you are no longer able to provide for, nor protect those whom you love.

 

Moreover, when you start proactively engaging in spiritual warfare and praying strongly like what I’ve been teaching, you become a bigger target for these areas to come under attack by the devil. 

 

So then, the scriptures tell us to count the cost of following Christ.  Jesus said that our love for him should far exceed our love for any other person in the life.  This is because it may very well cost us everything that we love in this life in order to fulfill the call of the Spirit of Christ. 

 

My original question was, “Why aren’t there more victories in the lives of believers when we have so many educated and talented ministers preaching and teaching to day?  Why is there a void in the body of Christ where believers are unfulfilled?”

 

The answer is that we haven’t truly counted our lives as nothing and that we are not really willing to lose everything that we love in this world for Jesus Christ.  The result is that we then choose to default to good ministries that are helping people, with the hope that we ourselves will never have to endure the full brunt of choosing to follow Christ.  Unfortunately, this mindset works for a few years.  But eventually, a person is going to get frustrated with church and ministry if he or she never addresses the real level of commitment that Christ requires from us.  The person’s joy evaporates very quickly because the general words that come over the pulpit are no longer sustaining, neither are the small groups.  While these things have a place of significance when it comes to helping to facilitate growth, these can never take the place of the peace that rules a person’s heart whose life is totally surrendered to the Holy Spirit. 

 

Many in the body of Christ are so frustrated because they are not getting what they need from the church.  They are blaming pastors and leaders and clergy for everything under the sun.  Yet, if these people would be honest, they would see that much their frustration is really because they rejected the righteous path that God had for that person (probably years prior).  Since they rejected this truth, God allowed them to deceive themselves into thinking that they would be satisfied by going to church and doing some levels of ministry.

Since God lives forever, then ten years is nothing for him to wait us out; however, for us, whose days are limited in this life, 10 years is a long time to be somewhere you were never supposed to be.  I say ten years because many people float around for that long in church, or doing a ministry, that they were not really supposed to be at; at least not for that long.  The result is a very unfulfilled spirit and years of bottled up frustration and bitterness, and mouth that bitterly bites and devours at God’s people.

 

I cannot emphasize enough that it is critically important of people to seek the Lord’s face with fasting, weeping and mourning so that they don’t spend inordinate amounts of time being somewhere that they are not supposed to be.

 

Those churches that are moving forward and God is growing them, praise God for them.  I don’t have anything to speak against them as long they are truly teaching God’s word. 

 

My call is to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the hearts of the children back to the fathers.  This can best be facilitated by knowing for oneself what God’s calling is on his or her life, and the life of one’s children.  Then he can prophesy God’s vision over his children and watch the Lord perform it piece by piece as the child grows up.  No one pastor or teacher is responsible for your child’s destiny like you are as the parent.  No school system is responsible for teaching your child right from wrong like you are.  No civil structure is supposed to love and correct your child like you, the parent, is supposed to. 

 

I don’t take away from the hard work that many mothers have put in for their children.  I’m simply addressing the fathers because:

1.  the bible specifically calls out the fathers, and

2.  so many father are missing in action; whether incarcerated, or strung out on their own abusive substances, or addicted to something that consumes them and prevents them from being actively engaged in the lives of their children.

 

 

Evil will escalate exponentially where there is a consistent failure to train up our children in the true paths of God’s holiness.  So lets count the cost of NOT doing it God’s way so that his fear can govern our hearts and so that we can truly repent and teach our children righteousness, faith, mercy and truth in the midst of a very wicked and perverse generation.

After getting banned from some discussion threads and forums, I've decided to try and generate my own blog and air some thoughts in real-time.  I went to several discussion threads that were related to alcohol addictions, sex addictions, and drug addictions.  The people on these threads were really crying out for help, mostly for a son, daughter, or husband.  My point is that I felt that I could really offer them some help through our ministry and website.  Well, Christian Recovery and Christian recovery International both banned me from their system.  All I did was post the teaching i did on pornography in 5 parts.  I thought that it would help since people who generally struggle with drug addictions also struggle with sex addictions too.  Well, the moderators didn't agree and banned my account permanently.

So, i tried a different approach.  I went to teen challenge and opened an account with them for their forums.  they didn't ban me, but they just didn't post my teachings or my prayers.  Finally, i managed to get a prayer approved by a moderator, and they decided to post something.

Next was to go to Focus on the Family forums.  they accepted the 2nd of two spiritual warfare prayers that i did on the Mens Only thread.  they never said why they rejected the first one.  but then they didn't allow me to set my own password to get back into the thread.  they gave me a temporary passcode  that i was able to use for one day, but I cannot log back onto the thread at this point. 

 

I guess we're just going to have to go the old fashioned way and just straight snatch souls off the streets and out of the fire; with some making a difference and with others, saving with fear, hating even the garments spotted by the flesh.

 

People are crying for help because the knowledge that they are getting in the structured, organized recovery programs are void of consistent power. 

There is no real deliverance apart from strong consistent warfare prayer, in my opinion.  The bible says that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked; who can know it?  Strong warfare prayer helps tremendously in purging the heart of deceit and desperate wickedness so that the devil cannot find things in your life to attach himself to.
