It is amazing how God works to make sure people are cared for.

Yesterday as Sherry and I were eating lunch and visiting with friends who work for Pizza Hut they asked if Faith Journey could use some food.  They went on to explain that during November and December they have many customers bring in canned goods for discounts on their food.  NOW GET THIS :(  They have trouble finding who to funnel the food to as most social agencies, in their words, don't have time to come and pick it up!  Oh, for bad ... I won't write what I'm thinking about what that says about us earth creatures!  I just want to do what God expects His people to do, whether others see it that way or not.  I believe there are others at Faith Journey and El Renuevo who's lives are characterized by the same motivation.

We told them we would take all the non-perishible items they receive.  So they are going to call us when they begin to get boxes of "stuff".  At this time we will bring it to Faith Journey.  After discussing with Michael we believe there are people within our faith community or extended family who "are struggling" with having food for a meal(s).  We also believe the same of El Renuevo! 

If you or someone you know are looking to reduce your grocery bill this food distribution is not intended for you. 

If you or someone you know is struggling putting food on your table this is food distribution is SPECIFICALLY offered to you!

I can supply the pickup truck and licensed driver :) but may need someone(s) to provide lifting gifts over 10-15 pounds :)  The gospel according to Ronnie <grin>

Pizza Hut will contact us when they begin to accumulate the food.

1 Greetings from Ron, a follower of Jesus, lover of God and others. The first letter to Faith Journey is written on the hearts and minds of many brothers and sisters in prior years. It is my desire to begin a second letter. This letter will allow others to include their own words, in successive verses or chapters, as they are led by our awesome Creator God to participate in it's writing.

2 The past two and one half years have been the most remarkable and challenging years of my life. I thank God often that He directed our paths to intersect. It is His Spirit that has provided the wisdom and strength to understand God more fully than I have ever thought possible.

3 I am eternally greatful for pastors Michael and Carlos, as well as their leadership teams, who have been diligent and patient in seeking God over the past years. What transpired Sunday evening, October 25, 2009 in the Great Mall will forever change the history of God's moving in Olathe Kansas. God is pleased with this ministry partnership which has occurred.

4 It is a blessing to now be working along side Carlos, Emmanual, Jamie, Victor and many others, whom unfortunately I can't recall their names, including their wives and families. Sherry and I have been praying and fasting for this move of God in our midst for years.
We are eternally greatful for what God has done. We are thankful to be a part of a church who is doing only what some talk about and we are so looking forward to serving God, others and one another.
