     Recently the Lord has been speaking to me about gratefulness. 

The definition for grateful is:  appreciative of benefits received,expressing gratitude,and affording pleasure or comfort;agreeable.

     I looked this up because when the Lord started speaking to me, I wanted to make sure I got it right..............

     It all started one morning not to long ago.....I was on my way to work........ same as always,  talking to Him and thanking Him and praising Him for all He has done......telling Him how grateful I was ........nothing different here, same as I always do,    BUT  this particular day ..The Lord said to me.........Are you grateful?  Oh yes Lord, I am and proceeded to name off all the things that I was grateful for.     AGAIN  HE SAID............ARE YOU GRATEFUL?  

       Immediately I was reminded of the time when the Lord asked Peter,  Do you love me?    and I knew that this was not going to be business as usual......................At that point the Lord flashed across my rememberance instances when I had looked and wished that things were different in my life, or a sigh or an "Oh well"  thats just the way it is.........

     .I have to tell you that the Lord did not condemn me but was simply uncovering something in my heart that He knew was there all along.  I asked for forgiveness and it was done.  The Joy that overwhelmed me is such a testimony to HIS goodness,  He will not leave us or forsake us ,He is gentle, kind and caring.  I love how HE loves me.  And guess what HE loves you too.  So when He shows you things about yourself, don't close up, close down, or run away......instead run to Him.....ask forgiveness and go on......Love you all remember we are in this together, after all we are the body of Christ.  Be blessed

    The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.  Romans8:19

             The Lord woke me up this morning speaking to me about expectations.  "Where are your expectations?  He said."  Where are my expectations I thought? Have I lowered my expectations of  who He is and what He can do?  and Lo and Behold yes I have! I made God more like me , but Who is a God like you O Lord?  There is none like YOU!!    And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Rom.8:28

            Has the Lord spoken a word to you that has seemed to tarry?  Do not be discouraged, it says in Rom8:34 Christ Jesus, who died--more than that ,who was raised to life----is at the right hand of God and is interceding for us.

                     Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ?  Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creationmwill be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Rom.8:34-39.

                So what shall we say and what shall we do ?  Our understanding is so small. For my thoughts are not your thoughts,and neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. IS55-8

O, Lord let our cry be heard and have mercy on us for making you like us, thank you for washing us ,washing us, washing us in the  BLOOD of the Lamb, thank you for forgiving our sins, thank you that you lead and guide us in the everlasting way. My heart is overwhelmed with your goodness and mercy and love.  What a mighty God we serve!!  So be bold and be strong this day for the Lord your God is with you!  He will never leave you or forsake you and His mercy  endures foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!    LOOK UP!  See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and his arm rules for him.  See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. IS.40:10  Be Blessed!!

Isa.26:1-4  We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.  Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.  You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast,because he trusts in you.  Trust in the Lord forever,for the Lord is the Rock eternal.

Isa.26:20-21  Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.  See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins.  The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.

Over and over I hear the word STAND.  What is it Lord that you are trying to say?

Do we not know have we not heard that you are the everlasting GOD?  The creator  of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired and weary, and HIS understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.  Isaiah40:28-31

I saw an eagle in my back yard today. It was sitting on top of the trellis. I watched it for awhile, it looked around, and finally it took off effortlessly.  How beautiful it looked as it rose up over the trees and finally out of sight.

I will declare that your love stands firm forever,  Ps. 89:2a

Your word O Lord is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Ps.119:89

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our GOD stands forever.  Is.40:8

YOU WHO BRING GOOD TIDINGS TO ZION, GO UP ON A HIGH MOUNTAIN.   YOU WHO BRING GOOD TIDINGS TO JERUSALEM,LIFT UP YOUR VOICE WITH A SHOUT,LIFT IT UP,DO NOT BE AFRAID; SAY TO THE TOWNS OF JUDAH, " HERE IS YOUR GOD!"   SEE THE SOVEREIGN LORD COMES WITH POWER, AND HIS ARM RULES FOR HIM.   SEE, HIS REWARD IS WITH HIM, AND HIS RECOMPENSE ACCOMPANIES HIM.  Is. 40:9-10

Therefore , my dear brothers,  STAND  firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1Cor.15:58

Be on your guard; STAND FIRM in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.  Do EVERYTHING in love.  1Cor.16:13
